The works are created as a reflection of a desire to depict Jewish history, the layering of time and the relationship between humanity, God and the world.
These works are crafted on wood using deep relief and bas-relief techniques. Simple tools were employed, which added to the manual labor of the process, allowing me to maintain a continuous tie with the wood as a living material.
